Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Facilities Management (Healthcare)

About the role

Kudos, a leading facilities management provider for the healthcare sector, is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join its South team. The role involves delivering preventive and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in the London area, ensuring compliance with health‑and‑safety and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks on mechanical, electrical and fabric services in line with SFG20 and HTM guidelines.
• Respond to reactive maintenance calls, diagnose faults and resolve issues within contractual timeframes.
• Maintain accurate real‑time records of work using a tablet system.
• Collaborate with H&S teams to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, RAMS and permits.
• Provide specialist electrical duties for HV, LV, lifts, emergency lighting, data and fire alarm systems as required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline (mechanical or electrical) and up‑to‑date knowledge of current regulations (e.g., 18th Edition).
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to suggest practical solutions.

Required skills

• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate (highly desirable).
• IPAF and PASMA certification (beneficial).
• Legionella Awareness.
• HTM and AP training (beneficial).
• Competence with HV/LV systems, lifts, emergency lighting, data and fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with SFG20 maintenance standards.

• Salary up to £43,500 per annum.
