About the role

The Nurse Bank at NHS Fife is looking for Nursing Auxiliaries to support patient care across ten hospitals in the region. This flexible, bank‑based role allows you to work a variety of shift patterns while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

Assist permanent nursing staff in delivering high‑quality patient care.
Cover a range of shifts in multiple hospitals, adapting to changing schedules.
Follow training and guidance provided by experienced staff.
Adhere to NHS policies, including the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.

Required profile

Genuine interest in caring for others and a potential future career in nursing.
Ability to balance work with other commitments such as study or family responsibilities.
Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG scheme.
