Part‑time Gulf Arabic/Bahraini Language Specialist (UK based)

About the role

PolyAI is looking for a native or fluent Gulf Arabic speaker to join its language team on a part‑time basis. You will help improve the understanding module of our voice‑assistant platform by creating high‑quality training data and ensuring the conversational experience meets client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality sentence training examples for the language understanding module.
• Update system prompts according to client requests.
• Manage and upload voice recordings for model training.
• Test conversational systems extensively before launch.
• Review customer calls and flag problematic conversations.
• Collaborate with software engineers and dialogue designers to optimise user experience and call containment.

Required profile

• Native or fluent Bahraini Arabic (preferred) or Gulf Arabic (acceptable).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, international team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Passion for delivering great user experiences and interest in natural language technologies.
