Personal Tutor – Adult Care (South East)

About the role

Paragon Skills is seeking an enthusiastic Personal Tutor to support adult learners pursuing Health and Social Care Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications across the South East of England. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel for in‑person observations, team meetings and one‑to‑one sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage, motivate and inspire learners to achieve their work‑based qualifications.
• Deliver innovative, learner‑centred teaching tailored to individual needs.
• Manage a diverse caseload of Level 2‑3 learners, providing regular visits, observations and progress reviews.
• Provide constructive feedback to stretch learners and support professional development.
• Build strong relationships with employer partners and exceed their expectations.
• Promote and utilise Elevate Workshops to maximise learner success.
• Monitor and track progress using the BUD Learning Management System.
• Collaborate with Learning Support for learners requiring Functional Skills or additional support.
• Maintain GDPR compliance and data security throughout all activities.

• Experienced professional with a passion for adult education and the care sector.
• Ability to engage and inspire learners, fostering progression and achievement.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with employers and support teams.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality education and adhering to data protection standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the BUD Learning Management System.
• Understanding of GDPR regulations and data security practices.
