Pharmacist / Independent Prescriber (Full‑Time)

About the role

This is a full‑time Pharmacist/Independent Prescriber role covering community pharmacies in Cathkin, Dalmarnock and Dumbarton. You will provide cover for holidays and days off, deliver NHS services, support private service development and offer patient‑centred pharmaceutical care, including prescribing for common conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy cover for holidays and days off within the existing rota.
• Deliver NHS pharmacy services and support the development of private services.
• Provide patient‑centred care, including prescribing for common conditions.
• Act as Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD).
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team and offer expert advice on medicines.

Required profile

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and CPD.
• Non‑qualified candidates must be willing to work towards Independent Prescriber status with company support.
