Platform Engineer - Deployment Automation

About the role

Join FanDuel's Deployment Automation team as a Platform Engineer. You will work in a cloud environment, primarily using Python, to improve developer services and tooling through infrastructure‑as‑code toolchains. This role lets you see the daily impact of your work on other development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support tools and frameworks that automate infrastructure management via code.
• Create and promote best practices for infrastructure‑as‑code across development teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and reflect FanDuel values.

Required profile

• Experience in scripting or service development, preferably with Python.
• Background contributing to CI/CD tooling and processes.
• Experience building cloud‑based solutions, ideally on AWS.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and work with emerging tools.
• Strong ability to build relationships across the organization.
