About the role
We are seeking an experienced Pool Service Manager / Senior Engineer to lead the maintenance and servicing of complex pool and plantroom systems across the UK. This brand‑new national position combines hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to shape service delivery and mentor a team of engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for a national portfolio of pool and hydrotherapy systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform reactive repairs on plantroom equipment.
- Service, commission and upgrade filtration, dosing and circulation equipment.
- Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support refurbishment and new installation projects.
- Produce accurate service reports, risk assessments and maintenance records.
- Build strong relationships with clients, site teams and stakeholders.
- Identify additional works and improvement opportunities.
- Mentor and support other engineers within the team.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with legislation.
Required profile
- Proven experience working on pool and plantroom systems.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment, filtration, dosing and circulation systems.
- Mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
- PWTAG Pool Plant Operator certification (highly desirable).
- IOSH Working Safely or equivalent health‑and‑safety awareness.
- IPAF and PASMA training (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional, customer‑focused and solutions‑driven attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build on‑site relationships.
