Python Developer – Real‑time Risk & Trading Data Platform

About the role

We are seeking a high‑impact Python Engineer to join a specialised team building the real‑time risk and trading data platform that powers systematic strategies across the firm. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, market data and quantitative trading, delivering ultra‑low‑latency, high‑reliability services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance data services and pipelines for real‑time portfolio monitoring.
• Develop analytical tools used by investment teams to assess risk, exposure and performance.
• Automate critical trading‑lifecycle workflows across derivatives and multi‑asset portfolios.
• Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers to translate business needs into robust software.
• Own end‑to‑end systems within a mission‑critical trading environment.

Required profile

• Strong computer‑science fundamentals, preferably a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience building production software or data systems.
• Comfort with high‑volume data pipelines, distributed services and performance‑sensitive platforms.
• Ownership mindset capable of taking complex systems from design through production.
• Motivation to build software where every microsecond counts.
