Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our luxury airline catering production unit. You will ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and presentation for discerning passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily tasks assigned by the QA Supervisor and Manager.
• Review and verify quality checks of goods delivered by suppliers.
• Inspect chillers and dry stores, ensuring FIFO, correct batch codes, expiry dates, and allergen segregation.
• Conduct audits across kitchen and warehouse areas, maintaining up‑to‑date paperwork, temperature records, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor personal hygiene of staff in veg preparation, butchery, and pot‑wash zones.
• Support international QA events when required.
• Enforce internal safety rules to prevent incidents.
• Submit daily reports on incidents, issues, solutions, and production developments.

• HACCP & Food Hygiene certification.
• BSc in Food Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and data management.
