Quality Control Inspector – Structural Steel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a leading structural steel manufacturer in the Bellshill area. The role involves ensuring that all project specifications and quality standards are met across a range of heavy‑engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and implement project specifications.
• Prepare project documentation in line with specifications.
• Support all aspects of quality management within the company.
• Assist with supply‑chain audits.
• Implement and maintain the company’s Quality Management System.
• Compile and review LTQR reports.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality control or a related field.
• Experience on projects in defence, power, oil & gas, or nuclear sectors is advantageous.
• Background in heavy engineering is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a tight‑knit team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
