About the role
Portico is seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist (Regional Guest Services Ambassador) to join the brand‑new team at the Glasgow office of a global consultancy. You will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct staff, clients, and visitors with a professional demeanor.
- Manage and facilitate meeting rooms, including set‑up and hospitality elements.
- Provide general office support and maintain a tidy reception area.
- Anticipate client needs and follow up to exceed expectations.
- Identify and suggest innovative ways to improve reception services.
Required profile
- Positive team player with strong organisational and communication skills.
- High level of personal presentation and a proactive attitude.
- Ownership mindset with problem‑solving ability.
- Customer‑focused with experience delivering high‑standard service.

What we offer
- Competitive salary of £31,508 per annum.
- 40‑hour work week (8 am‑5:30 pm, Monday‑Friday) with occasional overtime for events.
