About the role
Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team keeps critical machinery running in its fulfilment network. Based in Daventry, you will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment while ensuring the highest health‑and‑safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
- Diagnose faults and execute reactive repairs in a live distribution warehouse.
- Utilise modern tools and techniques to maximise equipment effectiveness.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and practices.
- Support on‑site apprentices and contribute to their development.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and share best practices across EU sites.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical or automotive equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work shifts, including early‑morning or night hours, to minimise operational disruption.
- Strong focus on safety and equipment reliability.
- Willingness to collaborate with senior colleagues and external contractors when needed.
