Relief Security Officer – Film Studio

About the role

We are seeking a SIA‑licensed Relief Security Officer to provide professional security services at a leading film and television production site. You will work varied shifts, including days, nights and weekends, ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site patrols and maintain accurate surveillance records.
• Brief, sign‑in and sign‑out all visitors and contractors in line with site procedures.
• Record deliveries, process paperwork and manage entry/exit logs.
• Operate primary and secondary alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security when required.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other safety documents, advising on improvements.
• Maintain personal training records, including first aid and fire marshal qualifications.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑focused attitude.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Eligibility for BS7858 vetting.

Required skills

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Basic IT competency for recording and reporting
