Remote Medicine Physician – AI Model Evaluation (20-40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced physician in internal or emergency medicine to work remotely on a project that fine‑tunes large language models such as ChatGPT. Your clinical expertise will help ensure the AI delivers accurate, empathetic, and safe medical reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced clinical scenarios covering differential diagnoses, acute care, and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence‑based reasoning.
• Identify gaps in the model’s understanding across internal medicine subspecialties (e.g., cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology).
• Collaborate with AI researchers and medical peers to improve model quality and reliability.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that informs the next generation of AI tools for clinical and educational use.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent with active clinical practice within the last 3 years.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Comprehensive knowledge of acute, chronic, and preventive care.
• Ability to articulate complex medical reasoning in clear, patient‑friendly language.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Education from a top‑tier institution (e.g., Harvard, Stanford, UCSF, Oxford).

What we offer
