Senior Accountant – Northamptonshire

About the role

You will join a small, supportive team at a growing independent firm and take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of OMB clients, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit, accounts and tax requirements across a varied client base.
• Act as the primary client manager and point of contact.
• Oversee workflow, budget jobs and plan work schedules.
• Review accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities.
• Review personal tax returns.
• Support and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with flexibility for experience‑based qualification.
• Significant experience in public practice.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships.
