Senior Area Facilities Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Area Facilities Manager to lead operational excellence across a multi‑site estate in London. You will oversee technical services, drive energy efficiency initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical services contract management and delivery across the entire portfolio.
• Manage, develop and support Area Facilities Managers.
• Lead company‑wide energy management initiatives to reduce operational costs.
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and coordinate projects.
• Conduct building surveys and audits to ensure compliance with H&S legislation and FM standards.
• Manage reactive works, SLA performance and key client communications.
• Contract management of specialist services such as lifts, P&D and life safety.
• Drive quality assurance and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑site facilities management experience (essential).
• At least 2 years in an Area Facilities Manager role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical contract management.
• Experience managing outsourced subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise, multi‑task and meet deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management with contractors and internal teams.
• Self‑motivated, organised and detail‑oriented.
