Join Wavin, a proud member of the Orbia group, as a Senior Electrical & Energy Project Engineer. In this strategic role, you will act as the primary technical expert for electrical infrastructure across our UK and Ireland sites, driving excellence in reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.

Missions principales

• Serve as the single point of contact for all High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems across multiple sites.
• Ensure full compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical infrastructures.
• Lead automation, energy efficiency, and consumption reduction projects.
• Analyze energy consumption patterns and champion sustainability initiatives through technology and behavioral change.
• Support long-term asset planning and infrastructure development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting across various locations.
• Manage external suppliers and maintenance contracts to optimize performance and cost-control.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, and Management.

Profil recherché

• Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• HND or equivalent technical degree.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in multi-site project management.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

Competences requises

• Mandatory certifications: BS7671 and Electrical Duty Holder.
• Highly desirable: HV Authorised Person status.
• In-depth knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Strong analytical skills for energy consumption and technical troubleshooting.
