Senior Engineer – Construction Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team in Birmingham. The role provides exposure to high‑profile UK and international projects, including commercial, mixed‑use, data centre, stadium, tall building and large‑scale infrastructure developments. As part of Robert Bird Group, you will work within a global consultancy that delivers innovative, sustainable and buildable solutions across structural, civil and construction engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated permanent and temporary works solutions.
• Define construction methodology and buildability strategies.
• Plan erection staging and sequencing.
• Coordinate enabling works and logistics planning.
• Design temporary works and conduct advanced analysis.
• Perform digital rehearsals to optimise construction processes.
• Lead client liaison and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in construction engineering.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale infrastructure and building projects.
