Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading organisation in the music industry, based in London with a hybrid working model (three days in the office). The role offers a competitive salary of up to £95,000 and provides the opportunity to shape the finance function during a period of transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end financial operation, including month, quarter and year‑end close.
• Maintain balance‑sheet governance and manage cash and working capital.
• Prepare statutory and regulatory reports and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead a small finance team and act as deputy to the Finance Director.
• Present financial performance and strategic insights to Board and Executive committees.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior controllership experience in a UK environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP, IFRS and UK tax.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Credibility when interacting with Board members and senior stakeholders.
