About the role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join a medium‑sized independent wealth planning firm in Maidstone. The role offers a salary of £80k‑£120k plus bonuses, 25 days annual leave and bank holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Manage existing client relationships and handle all new enquiries.
- Provide advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cash‑flow modelling, retirement planning, protections and specialist schemes such as VCT & EIS.
- Take over client portfolios from advisers who are approaching retirement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with businesses and stakeholders across Kent.
- Uphold high levels of client satisfaction and long‑term retention.
Required profile
- Experience working in an independent wealth planning firm.
- Chartered status preferred or ambition to achieve chartered qualification.
- Proven ability to manage high‑net‑worth client portfolios.
- Commitment to delivering the best service rather than focusing on AUM growth.
