Senior Full Stack Developer (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

AND Digital is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is primarily remote with occasional visits to our Aberdeen office (1‑2 times per quarter). You will drive the development and delivery of high‑quality digital products for our clients while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and hand over the overtime application, including user demos.
• Support releases and engage users for recently completed applications.
• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
• Design, enhance, and maintain internal applications.
• Provide run‑mode support, fixing bugs and applying security patches.
• Mentor junior developers, especially those new to Agile and React.
• Plan, scope, estimate, and schedule development work.
• Coordinate releases with DevOps teams.
• Deliver stakeholder and user demos with technical input.
• Produce bi‑weekly reports and collaborate closely with the team lead.

Required profile

• Senior‑level software engineering experience with strong hands‑on capability.
• Proven experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.
• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Cloud development experience, particularly with Azure.
