Senior Jersey Designer – Fashion Supplier

About the role

Vogue Sourcing is seeking a Senior Jersey Designer to lead creative development for our fast‑moving fashion line. Based in Leicester, you will shape seasonal collections, work closely with global factories and support junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Create original design concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes.
• Source fabrics that meet design specifications and develop detailed tech packs.
• Produce trend and colour inspiration packs.
• Manage and mentor junior team members.
• Support the Design Manager and liaise regularly with the Account Manager.
• Coordinate with factories, overseas offices and directors for range reviews.
• Maintain strong buyer relationships and meet departmental deadlines.
• Oversee expenses, returns and organise inspiration trips, including overseas travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in fashion design.
• Strong creative and trend‑driven mindset with an eye for colour and fabric.
• Flexible and able to travel to Manchester and occasional overseas locations.
• Detail‑oriented, calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player who builds effective relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
