About the role

The Senior Managing Engineer – Forward Deployed will lead a client‑facing data engineering team within Accenture’s Palantir Business Group. Based in London, you will combine deep technical expertise with strong client advisory skills to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that drive smarter decision‑making for public and private sector organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the discovery and analysis of client problems, shaping strategic road‑maps and change‑management plans.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to build data pipelines, low‑code Palantir Foundry applications, and custom code using Python and PySpark.
• Develop user‑facing front‑end components with TypeScript and React to surface insights.
• Integrate AI and machine‑learning workflows into client solutions.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships, providing advisory guidance and ensuring successful programme outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑engineering projects in a consulting or client‑service environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts for senior stakeholders.
• High emotional intelligence and the capacity to work in complex, fast‑paced settings.
