Senior Medical Science Liaison

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Medical Science Liaison to join our Medical Affairs team, covering the United Kingdom and Ireland. The role is field‑based and serves as the scientific bridge between the company and key healthcare professionals in the aesthetics space.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer‑level scientific relationships with KOLs, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic physicians, nurses and allied professionals across the UK and Ireland.
• Deliver tailored, evidence‑based presentations, clinical updates and educational programmes in 1:1 and group settings, and represent the company at national and international aesthetics congresses.
• Provide strategic input for scientific content, speaker selection and briefing for advisory boards and congress activities.
• Support clinical investigators with investigator‑initiated trials in compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Partner with the commercial sales team to deliver scientific training, attend customer‑facing meetings when scientific expertise is required, and supply product and competitor insights.
• Document HCP interactions, scientific topics and insights in approved CRM systems and report activity metrics in line with compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Medical Science Liaison or equivalent scientific field role.
• Strong scientific credibility, independence and strategic maturity.
• Deep knowledge of medical aesthetics, dermatology and related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to manage off‑label medical enquiries in a fully compliant and ethical manner, adhering to ABPI and Irish code guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills for peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange and education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking interactions and reporting.
