Senior Mobile Boiler Engineer - Commercial & Industrial

About the role

Join Artic Building Services, a leading Hard Facilities Management provider in London and the Home Counties. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and autonomous Mobile Boiler Engineer to join our rapidly growing technical team and deliver excellence in mechanical engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of commercial and industrial boiler systems.
• Provide rapid reactive support, diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and gas/oil faults.
• Execute professional installations, commissioning, and decommissioning of boiler units.
• Conduct combustion analysis to ensure maximum efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out essential gas safety inspections and maintain accurate technical certification.
• Identify and rectify defects in pumps, valves, heat exchangers, ductwork, and control panels.
• Produce detailed technical reports and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage vehicle stock, inventory, and ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in peak condition.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer within the Hard FM or heating sector.
• Strong ability to work autonomously while managing multiple client sites across London and the South East.
• Commitment to strict safety standards (Gas Safe, OFTEC, LOLER, COSHH, CDM).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Full Commercial Gas Safe accreditations (essential: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA, etc.).
• Expertise in diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical heating systems.
• Proficiency in combustion analysis and technical reporting.
• Valid driving license for mobile site visits.
