Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer reports to the Head of Projects and ensures that client and company requirements are consistently met across all projects. This role leads the planning, delegation, monitoring, and reporting of a comprehensive Quality Assurance programme while maintaining ISO 9001 accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality‑related support and advice to all business functions.
• Develop client‑focused quality planning, documentation, and feedback mechanisms.
• Review, update, and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS) on a routine basis.
• Maintain Lloyds ISO 9001 accreditation for the organisation.
• Plan and execute internal company audit programmes.
• Plan and execute external supplier audit programmes.
• Manage the Issue Management (Non‑Conformance) process.
• Produce progress reports and quality metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in quality management, preferably with line‑management responsibilities.
• Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• IRCA‑registered Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Diploma in Quality Management.
