Senior Relationship Director – Corporate Clients (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Relationship Director to lead and grow a portfolio of large corporate clients in the NBFI and Professional Services sectors. Based at Triton Square, London, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored financing solutions and driving business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of large corporate clients, driving growth through acquisition, relationship management and retention.
• Develop and deliver tailored funding and lending solutions in collaboration with Credit Risk, Portfolio Management and Treasury teams.
• Act as a trusted adviser, building long‑term relationships with clients and business introducers while enhancing Santander’s market profile.
• Manage risk by ensuring compliance with credit policies, regulatory frameworks and financial crime standards.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the sector growth strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large corporate clients, preferably with exposure to listed companies or private‑equity‑backed businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with investment‑banking colleagues to deliver market‑leading solutions.
• Strong understanding of the complexities of NBFI clients and a track record of driving portfolio growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with a proactive, risk‑aware mindset.
