Senior Software Engineer – 3D Printing Solutions

About the role

Stratasys is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Cambridge team. You will work on complex, cutting‑edge software that powers the next generation of 3D printing solutions for aerospace, automotive, consumer products and healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the go‑to expert for challenging technical problems and software optimisation.
• Mentor and train other engineers, fostering professional growth.
• Communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Design, develop and implement new software features.
• Troubleshoot, fix issues and maintain existing codebases.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product owners and QA to improve the product.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in a senior software development role.
• Deep knowledge of C++ or TypeScript, with experience in React and related frameworks.
• BSc or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven ability to work in a Scrum environment.
• Experience with CAD programming, geometric modelling, graphics or simulation is a plus.
