Senior Software Engineer – Payments & Incentives

About the role

Quantcast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the Payments & Incentives team, the financial engine behind its AI‑powered advertising platform. You will design and build high‑throughput payment, billing and reward systems that enable advertisers to run campaigns effortlessly while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive engineering initiatives for unified financial reporting and process consolidation across billing, payments and incentive pipelines.
• Design, develop and maintain robust microservices and APIs that handle payment processing, incentive programs and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners, finance, revenue operations and other internal stakeholders to resolve cross‑team dependencies and meet end‑user requirements.
• Lead on‑call rotations, troubleshoot complex incidents and implement improvements to system health and financial integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide constructive code reviews and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience building large‑scale, high‑availability backend services in a fast‑moving ad‑tech or fintech environment.
• Strong focus on outcomes, measuring success by business impact and customer adoption.
• Ability to work autonomously, drive projects from concept to production and influence cross‑functional teams.
