Social Media Manager

About the role

FlightStory is looking for a Social Media Manager to own the day‑to‑day management of the founder’s personal brand across multiple platforms. You will translate ideas, insights and moments into compelling social content that grows audience, reach and influence.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and schedule daily social posts for the founder, ensuring consistency of tone, timing and brand voice.
• Write high‑performing, platform‑native copy (threads, captions, titles, hooks, etc.).
• Collaborate with video creators, editors and strategists to turn long‑form content into publish‑ready social assets.
• Monitor performance metrics across X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, using insights to refine the posting strategy.
• Maintain a dynamic content calendar that balances planned, reactive and trend‑led posts.
• Guarantee that the founder’s personal brand is represented at a world‑class level on all social touchpoints.

Required profile

• Social‑native storyteller with a sharp pen and instinct for audience behavior.
• Proven experience managing fast‑paced social channels and speaking in another person’s voice.
• Highly organised, responsive and able to deliver quality work under shifting priorities.
• Passion for helping a founder show up powerfully and consistently online.

Required skills

• Deep fluency on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Exceptional copywriting ability for scroll‑stopping social posts.
• Strong organisational skills for calendar and asset management.
• Awareness of internet culture, creator trends and audience behavior.
