Solicitor - Contentious Trusts & Probate (Associate to Associate Partner)

About the Role

Join one of the UK's top 200 law firms and elevate your legal career within our prestigious Contentious Trusts & Probate department. We are looking for a dedicated legal professional to manage a diverse caseload, ranging from Associate to Associate Partner level, working under the expert guidance of our Head of Department, Chris Green.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of contentious trust and probate matters, including inheritance disputes and will contested cases.
• Provide strategic legal advice on complex trust litigation and estate disputes.
• Drive business growth through proactive client engagement and commercial development.
• Lead legal matters from initial negotiation through to formal litigation.
• Support clients through sensitive and emotionally challenging disputes with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct thorough examination of legal documents and evidence, and draft high-quality legal correspondence and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, solicitors, and expert witnesses.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Contentious Trusts & Probate law.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and commercially minded approach to legal practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for resolving complex inheritance and trust disputes.
• Ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and tact.
