Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, serving Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will deliver a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to commercial and institutional clients, working independently and managing your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bio‑hazard cleaning, flood water damage cleanup, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work and silo cleaning.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment where assignments vary week to week.
• Participate in an on‑call rota to respond to urgent client needs.
• Offer expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to business demands.
• Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.
