Specialist Registrar Dermatology – Remote

About the role

Medefer is seeking a Specialist Registrar in Dermatology to provide remote patient consultations as part of its virtual‑first specialist healthcare service. You will work from a private, secure space, reviewing GP referrals, taking detailed histories, and supporting consultants in forming management plans.

Key responsibilities

• Clerk patients referred by GPs via telephone assessment within the dermatology specialty.
• Take comprehensive patient histories to aid consultant decision‑making.
• Discuss risks and benefits of proposed surgical procedures or invasive tests and document patient agreement in principle.
• Collaborate with consultants to ensure accurate and timely patient management.

Required profile

• Registered with the GMC and holding an active licence to practise.
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Dermatology registrar in the NHS.
• Strong interest in digital health and clinical informatics.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time‑management, planning and prioritisation abilities.
