About the role

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional clinical nursing to all residents in line with NMC standards.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Supervise and support junior staff, providing leadership when required.
• Assist the Home Manager with daily operations and delegate workload in their absence.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and care plan documentation.

Required profile

• Ideally 12 months post‑graduate nursing experience in an elderly care setting, though newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with dementia patients and delivering clinical support.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with staff, residents and families.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing competence in a care‑home environment.
• Knowledge of dementia care best practices.
