About the role
We are looking for a Static Stress Engineer to join our Wing Analysis Engineering Team in Filton. You will work on cutting‑edge aerospace structures, ensuring that static load analyses meet the highest safety and certification standards.
Key responsibilities
- Approve and authorise static structural deliverables for wing components.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional leadership to define project requirements and manage technical scopes.
- Lead engineers and suppliers through design reviews and certification processes.
- Integrate automated workflows and optimisation techniques into the stress analysis process.
- Travel occasionally within the UK and internationally as project needs dictate.
Required profile
- Eligibility to obtain a BPSS security clearance, including a criminal record check.
- Willingness to sign statutory declarations as required for the role.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (office and remote).
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Required skills
- Static stress analysis of aerospace structures.
- Structural engineering principles and certification standards.
- Experience with automated analysis workflows and optimisation tools.
