Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and contract delivery for the Sizewell C nuclear project within the MEH Alliance. The role will oversee sourcing, contract award and post‑award delivery, ensuring safety, quality and cost objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the MEH Alliance supply‑chain strategy and Sizewell C programme.
• Lead tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract award processes.
• Ensure compliance with SZC governance, nuclear supply‑chain requirements and project procedures.
• Manage a team of Supply Chain Specialists and Senior Supply Chain Specialists.
• Oversee Contract Managers handling NEC3 contract administration and supplier performance.
• Coordinate handover from procurement to contract management and support contract mobilisation.
• Monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality, cost, safety and programme metrics.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, including long‑lead items and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, planning, quality and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing procurement and supply‑chain delivery on major infrastructure, engineering or nuclear projects.
• Proven track record leading procurement teams and handling complex supplier contracts.
• Strong commercial management and contract delivery expertise in large programmes.
• Relevant degree (e.g., Engineering, Business, Supply Chain).
