Support Worker – Adult Care (Queensbury)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to provide daily assistance to adults with learning disabilities living in Queensbury. You will help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment where each individual can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including hygiene and dressing.
• Prepare meals and support food and drink choices.
• Provide manual handling assistance when required.
• Administer medication, creams and lotions safely.
• Maintain accurate records, including finance and health documentation.
• Support money management and budgeting.
• Keep the home clean, tidy and safe.
• Organise varied daily activities and outings.
• Liaise with landlords for tenancy issues and repairs.

Required profile

• Passionate, caring and enthusiastic about supporting people with complex needs.
• Flexible, patient and non‑judgemental.
• Team‑player with high energy levels.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive for work‑related tasks.
• Willingness to work varied shift patterns, including mornings and evenings.
