System Analyst

About the role

Higgidy is looking for a friendly and effective System Analyst to join the IT team. You will support a wide range of IT and systems used across the business, both in the office and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Windows desktop/server OS, Active Directory and the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
• Administer and support internal systems, working with third‑party providers to resolve application and equipment issues.
• Perform Microsoft SQL Server administration tasks such as backups, linked servers, views, stored procedures, triggers and jobs.
• Maintain Excel‑based tools that connect to MSSQL data sources, using formulas and pivot tables.
• Deploy and manage hardware including monitors, docking stations, laptops/desktops, keyboards, mice and printers.
• Deliver out‑of‑hours support for critical business systems when required.

Required profile

• Experience delivering desktop and server support in a Windows environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and Office 365 administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server database management.
• Familiarity with hardware deployment and peripheral configuration.
• Ability to work with third‑party vendors and provide effective troubleshooting.
