About the role
We are looking for a full‑time Systems Administrator to join Random42 in Central London. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be the technical backbone of the company, ensuring stability, security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain servers, operating systems and core software.
- Manage and maintain all office hardware, software and network components.
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line user support, troubleshooting technical issues promptly.
- Oversee network administration, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
- Administer user accounts, security protocols and regular data backups.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimisations to prevent downtime.
Required profile
- Strong analytical skills with a talent for optimising IT workflows.
- Proactive, organised and meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.
- Experience acting as a subject‑matter expert for servers, networks and cloud services.
