About the role
A fantastic full‑time opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated SEN primary provision in Manchester. You will support pupils with complex social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs across Key Stages, providing both one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with significant additional needs.
- Work collaboratively across Key Stages within the specialist provision.
- Maintain a calm, consistent presence and positive attitude in the classroom.
Required profile
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour.
- Calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine passion for helping children with complex needs.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.25‑£16.65 (PAYE or Umbrella), inclusive of holiday pay.
- Immediate start and long‑term, full‑time contract (Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑16:00).
- Support to obtain required restraint training such as Team Teach.
