Tech Talent Sourcer (6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract)

About the role

Zego is looking for a Tech Talent Sourcer to join the Talent Acquisition team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will own the top‑of‑the‑funnel for engineering hiring, acting as the first point of contact for candidates and ensuring a high‑quality pipeline for software and data roles.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source high‑quality engineering candidates across multiple channels.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for Software Engineers, Engineering Managers and full‑stack profiles.
• Conduct initial candidate calls, capture findings clearly and set a positive experience from the first interaction.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements and success criteria.
• Leverage AI tools to improve outreach, identify patterns in pipeline data and increase efficiency.
• Track and report sourcing metrics to keep the team informed and focused.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of sourcing experience, preferably in a start‑up or scale‑up environment.
• Demonstrated success hiring Software Engineers, Senior Engineers, Engineering Managers and full‑stack talent.
• Comfortable working at pace, handling ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to make a positive first impression.
• Curiosity about AI applications in recruitment and a willingness to experiment.
