Technical Program Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering

About the role

Databricks is hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for its Forward Deployed Engineering division in London. The TPM leads a portfolio of complex, high-visibility programs and drives the continuous improvement of delivery excellence, acting as a senior leader within the FDE practice on large-scale, high-profile engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead a portfolio of highly complex, high-visibility programs, keeping them aligned with strategic customer objectives.
• Drive innovation and efficiency across the PS team to deliver better results for the Business Unit.
• Coordinate technical milestones and program-level dependencies across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Act as the primary lead for complex technical delivery discussions, working with M5-level managers to keep projects moving quickly.
• Mentor junior TPMs and refine delivery processes so the team can scale its global impact.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing complex technical programs; Product Management experience is a plus.
• Intermediate technical fluency.
• Able to integrate AI tools into program management workflows to improve operational performance.
• Track record of improving delivery standards and implementing changes that boost operational performance.
