Technical Recruiter – AI Start‑up (up to £100k + equity)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for a fast‑growing AI infrastructure start‑up that serves enterprise legal teams. Based in London, you will partner with engineering, product and design leaders to build high‑performing teams across Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end hiring for Engineering, Product and Design, aligning with aggressive growth targets.
• Develop and nurture talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market mapping and network building.
• Assess candidates for technical fit, cultural alignment and long‑term potential.
• Provide hiring managers with market insights, compensation benchmarks and process guidance.
• Improve recruiting operations by designing interview frameworks, assessment tools and playbooks.
• Shape the employer brand in competitive technical talent markets.
• Track recruiting metrics, identify bottlenecks and optimise conversion rates.
• Contribute to a data‑driven, scalable talent function that supports rapid international expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience hiring engineers and at least one of product or design in a high‑growth start‑up or similar environment.
• Strong sourcing skills with confidence engaging passive candidates.
• Ability to judge role requirements and define what strong performance looks like.
• Excellent partnership skills with technical and product stakeholders.
• High ambition and a fast‑paced, organized work style.
