Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant

About the role

This temporary position supports the Sales Ledger function for Ryman Limited and serves as a key Treasury contact for store operations. You will work closely with finance, risk, and store teams to ensure accurate processing of cash and invoice transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Post bank receipts and sales invoices in Navision.
• Contact customers with outstanding balances and manage chase lists.
• Prepare and post store statements and accounting journals.
• Monitor shared inboxes, escalating issues as needed.
• Manage Loomis cash collections and coordinate with store managers.
• Handle store banking books, including ordering, logging, and distribution.
• Communicate cash/card issues with stores and process ad‑hoc credit‑card payments.
• Support additional store tasks such as petty‑cash reporting and voucher management.

Required profile

• Inquisitive, forward‑thinking and confident communicator.
• Team player with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with external customers, store managers and internal colleagues.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, large data manipulation).
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP accounting systems.
