Trainee Systems Support Administrator – Hybrid (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Trainee Systems Support Administrator to provide first‑ and second‑line support for our core business applications. Working hybrid from our London office, you will help keep critical systems running smoothly and assist users across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for systems such as GeneticIQ, Sage, Power BI and PeopleHR.
• Act as the first point of contact for system‑related queries and log tickets via the Halo service portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues while maintaining data integrity.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, user training and permission management.
• Monitor system performance, extract data for reporting and contribute to system‑related projects.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in a systems support or administrative role.
• Awareness of relational databases and system architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
