Trainer – First Aid, Fire Marshal & Mental Health

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Trainer to deliver workplace training courses in Leicester, including First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, and Mental Health Awareness. You will empower learners with vital life‑saving skills while contributing to our mission of safer communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and assess a range of workplace training courses such as First Aid at Work and Mental Health Awareness.
• Set up training venues, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments, act as designated first aider and fire marshal at venues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date subject knowledge through professional development.
• Promote the organisation’s products and services to learners.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Required profile

• Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Development or equivalent.
• Valid course‑specific qualification (e.g., First Aid at Work, IOSH).
• Experience delivering first aid and/or health and safety courses to adults.
• Physically able to perform CPR on a manikin.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools for course administration.
