Vehicle Technician

About the role

Join Hedin Automotive’s BMW workshop team as a Vehicle Technician. You will work on the full range of BMW and MINI vehicles, using the latest diagnostic tools and service technology while developing your expertise through training at the BMW UK Training Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, complex fault diagnosis and repairs on customer, stock and retail vehicles.
• Maintain vehicles to BMW/MINI UK standards and meet productivity and quality targets.
• Advise customers on additional repair needs and complete video health checks and CitNows.
• Perform road tests when required and ensure all work is documented accurately.

Required profile

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a professional automotive service or repair environment; BMW/MINI experience is advantageous.
• Strong background in complex repairs and maintenance.
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean UK driving licence (minimum one year).

What we offer

• Competitive basic salary with OTE between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
• Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm schedule plus a rotating Saturday shift (8am‑12:30pm) paid as overtime.
