Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a varied portfolio of limited company clients in Manchester city centre. You will be the main point of contact, delivering statutory accounts, corporation tax, management accounts and outsourced finance department services in a paper‑less, cloud‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of up to 100 limited companies with turnover up to £15 million.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Oversee management accounts and outsourced finance department work.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships as the trusted advisor.
• Support and develop junior team members as the firm grows.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Solid background in UK practice with portfolio management experience.
• Comfortable working in a modern, tech‑driven, cloud‑based environment.
• Enjoys client relationship as much as the numbers.
• Part‑time candidates (25‑30 hours/week) will also be considered.

• £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary.
