About the role

A highly reputable chartered accountancy firm in Plymouth is seeking an Accounts and Audit Senior. The role combines year‑end account preparation, audit work and broader advisory services, offering a clear progression path within a supportive, hybrid‑working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of year‑end accounts for clients across various industries and turnover ranges.
• Conduct audit engagements, developing expertise and mentoring junior staff where needed.
• Build and manage client relationships, expanding the portfolio and taking on advisory and project work.
• Collaborate with the managerial and partner team to provide comprehensive accounting and audit support.

Required profile

• Studying, part‑qualified or newly qualified in AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts, audit or general practice within a UK accountancy firm.
• Ability to work with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across diverse sectors.
