Activity Leader – Summer Programme

About the role

The Activity Leader role at Bayswater Education involves planning, leading and supervising fun daytime and evening activities for students aged 12‑17, including cultural visits, excursions and on‑campus events. This is a flexible, no‑guaranteed‑hours contract for the summer period.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and supervise a variety of daytime and evening activities such as discos, quizzes, talent shows and sports.
• Take groups of students on cultural and educational excursions, delivering relevant information at points of interest.
• Ensure the welfare and safety of students throughout activities, excursions and on arrival at airports.
• Assist with student arrivals, campus tours, departures and room checks as required.
• Provide mealtime and curfew supervision, follow health and safety guidelines, and support centre managers with administrative tasks.
• Wear the provided uniform while on duty and adhere to the Staff Handbook.

Required profile

• Eligibility to live and work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
• Experience working with international student groups or in a summer camp setting.
• Solid knowledge of safeguarding and a current First Aid certificate.
• Relevant qualification such as Playwork, Childcare or Sports Leadership.
